TWENTY TASKS.
ONE LESS MINDLESS SCROLL.
These are the current iPhone and iPad Rage Baits. Every task runs inside RageQuit while the selected app stays behind an Apple Screen Time shield. Finish the challenge, then switch back to your app. They do not cover or manipulate another app’s live screen.
All twenty baits can be previewed for free. The free lineup is Blackout Battle, Button Beatdown, Horn of Regret, Lost Your Marbles and Calculation Crisis, for one Hit List app. A one-time Apple Full Access purchase unlocks every bait and multiple apps. iOS is currently in testing; App Store availability has not been announced.
MAKE THE PICTURE WORK FOR YOU.
- Blackout Battle
- Spread two fingers to push back the closing darkness.
- Signal Sabotage
- Pivot and extend both antennae until the television reception clears.
- Rainbow Rampage
- Turn three knobs until their combined color mix clears the picture.
- Sticker Bomb
- Tap away the monster’s sticker pile.
MAKE YOUR FINGERS WORK FOR IT.
- Button Beatdown
- Chase and tap the moving monster.
- Trail of Torment
- Rotate and slide pipe tiles to build a route for the rolling ball.
- Precision Punishment
- Stop each spinning padlock ring when its notch meets the pointer.
- 52 Card Pickup
- Flick exposed cards toward the matching suit at the phone’s edge. Correct cards leave the heap and reveal the cards underneath.
LISTEN. FEEL. FIGURE IT OUT.
- Horn of Regret
- Turn each valve clockwise to quiet its individual horn.
- Humiliation
- Hold the control and hum to earn accepted humming time. Optional microphone access is needed for this bait only.
- Ticking Deadline
- Choose a clock, hear its sound, then count that sound among the group. One correct answer clears the task.
- Vibration Gremlin
- Decode a word from Morse-code vibrations and enter its letters.
PUT THE PHONE TO WORK.
- Lost Your Marbles
- Tilt the ball from the maze’s center through its corridors to the exit.
- Safe Cracking
- Tilt left, right, then left to search the combination. Level the phone and pause when you feel the combination vibration.
- Shake It Off
- Shake to erase the monster from the drawing toy.
- Navigation Nightmare
- Point the compass into each target and hold the heading.
MAKE AUTOPILOT THINK AGAIN.
- Calculation Crisis
- Solve expressions and equations using arithmetic, fractions, percentages and other school-level math.
- Alphabet Soup
- Pick scattered letters in alphabetical order.
- Time Blind
- Estimate the shown interval, then stop the hidden timer when you think it has elapsed.
- Rage Recall
- Watch the flashing color sequence and repeat it.
YOUR RULES. YOUR ACCESS.
Screen Time is required for app protection. Microphone access is optional; only Humiliation needs it, and listening stops when you release the control or leave the task. Notifications are optional alerts and do not gate challenges. Motion, compass, audio and haptic tasks need suitable hardware. Read about iOS access and controls.

THE ANDROID RAGE BAITS.
The Android catalog and access model below are separate from iOS.
RageQuit builds friction in the apps on your Hit List after your daily Rage delay. Each app gets its own timing and Fuse length, with a separate intensity cap for each assigned bait. Build-up uses additional tracked app time, rather than time spent away from that app.
Preview all twenty baits for free. Use one eligible Hit List app with Blackout, Button Beatdown, Horn of Regret, Volume Drop and Calculation Crisis. The one-time Full Access purchase unlocks all baits and unlimited eligible Hit List apps.
A LESS SCROLLABLE SCREEN.
- Blackout
- Dim the temptation with a darkening visual effect.
- Signal Sabotage
- Put a little television snow between you and the feed.
- Rainbow Rampage
- Give the screen a deliberately unruly color treatment.
- Sticker Bomb
- Let the monster’s sticker collection get in the way.
MAKE YOUR FINGERS WORK FOR IT.
- Button Beatdown
- Earn your way through a tapping challenge.
- Trail of Torment
- Trace a route before getting back to the app.
- Precision Punishment
- Trade casual taps for a more deliberate target.
- Two-Thumb Tax
- Give both thumbs a job before continuing.
HARDER TO IGNORE.
- Horn of Regret
- Work the valve to settle an insistent horn.
- Humiliation
- Hold the intercom and hum toward a cumulative goal. Microphone access is required; recordings are never saved.
- Ticking Deadline
- A ticking reminder that your screen time is adding up.
- Vibration Gremlin
- A little haptic persistence to interrupt the habit.
GIVE THE PHONE A TIME-OUT.
- Volume Drop
- Lower the phone’s actual media volume at intervals. You turn it back up yourself.
- Screen Surrender
- Put the phone face down briefly. Earned time adds up.
- Shake It Off
- Clear a challenge with a few short shakes, using the phone’s motion sensors.
- Navigation Nightmare
- Turn the phone to line up an arrow with its targets, using available compass readings.
MAKE AUTOPILOT THINK AGAIN.
- Calculation Crisis
- Answer a little arithmetic before returning to your app.
- Alphabet Soup
- Pick the scattered letters in the right order.
- Time Blind
- Count in your head and stop the hidden timer when you think the time is up.
- Rage Recall
- Watch a growing color sequence, then repeat it.
FRICTION, WITH BOUNDARIES.
Accessibility access powers cross-app effects. Assigned sound and vibration activate automatically during eligible use, with a Stop notification available. Hum listens only while its control is held. Android navigation remains accessible. Effects pause when RageQuit cannot safely identify where they belong.
First-time setup requires Accessibility, Notifications, Microphone and Media Playback. Media Playback access can track supported selected playback. During a held Hum attempt, supported local players can pause and resume within safety checks. Player, floating-video and remote-casting behavior varies; universal compatibility isn’t promised.
Opening a bait preview starts its demonstration automatically when the required access and hardware are available. Previews can make real sound, vibrate or lower actual media volume. They do not change saved assignments or tracked use. Read how Accessibility access works and how effects run and stop.
